Our Philosophy
FWC Medical Center is a Tampa & Pensacola Florida Occupational Medicine & OWCP injury clinic located in Tampa & Pensacola Florida that specializes in Federal Workers Compensation. Our team of DOL doctors have 32 years of combined experienced treating OWCP -DOL Federal Workers Compensation & specialize in the treatment of DOL- OWCP federal injured workers. Our doctors are board certified in Emergency Medicine & Family Medicine and are Nationally Certified Medical Examiners. We have onsite OWCP Consultant who has e decades of experience in OWCP & DOL federal work compensation claim filing and claim assistance with DOL – OWCP claim assistance. We also offer Medical Fitness for Duty examinations including DOT physicals with drug and alcohol testing for federal & state employees. We have nationally certified medical examiners that provide physicals for OTR drivers, pilots, police, fire and rescue and annual physicals. We are able to treat and see patient's from Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi as well as Florida.
Our goal is to get our patients the proper treatment needed for them to be able to return to work or to partake in every day life activities with little to no pain. We have a fully trained staff to assist your DOL - OWCP case filings & approvals. We offer a wide range of medical services, including general health examinations, Fitness for duty examinations, & specialist consultations, and diagnostic tests. Mary Sullivan D.O.
Dr. Sullivan has been practicing for over 25 years in family & emergency medicine. She takes a holistic approach to healthcare, considering all aspects of our patients' physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Dr. Sullivan worked as an Army physician for 15 years of her military career. She has decades of experience treating federal healthcare, VA and Federal work injuries and understands government forms. Dr. Sullivan's goal is to provide comprehensive care that addresses the root causes of health issues and promotes overall wellness and assist in helping government workers recover from injuries and get back to work and their lives. Dr. Sullivan is licensed in Florida, Georgia and in Alabama.
OWCP Consultant Dr. Stephen Taylor
Stephen Taylor, APRN, FNP-C, D.C. Dr. Taylor is a national OWCP – DOL subject matter expert consultant for federal workers’ compensation utilization review, billing & compliance. Over the past 30 years, Dr. Taylor has built a national reputation as a go-to advisor for hospitals, outpatient clinics, physical therapy clinics, business owners, medical providers, healthcare executives, and billing departments for healthcare practice management and compliance with a particular focus on Federal Workers Compensation, medical utilization, healthcare compliance and assisting with disputed and closed cases. Dr. Taylor has helped hundreds and hundreds of OWCP cases that were denied, closed, consequential injuries, authorizations, and approvals of cases for surgeries, treatments, and scheduled awards for over two decades. Dr. Stephen Taylor is trained as a legal consultant, utilization review registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, family nurse practitioner & a chiropractic physician. He is the Chief Operating Officer for SMT Consultants, TEC Consulting and Managing Partner of DEA Medical Consultants He is the OWCP Consultant for the prestigious Oberheiden Law Firm
